What do the e-TAG beeps mean?

The sounds your e-TAG makes will change based on the status of your CityLink account. Here's what the different sounds mean:

  • one beep – your account is operating normally
  • three beeps – your account balance is low and payment is required
  • four beeps – your account has been suspended
  • no beeps – your e-TAG may have a flat battery, or be faulty or incorrectly installed
